The book of Romans says, “Since all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, they are now justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God put forward as a sacrifice of atonement by his blood, effective through faith.” (Romans 3:23-25).

The gospel of John reminds us, “For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him my not perish but may have eternal life.” (John 3:16).

Paul wrote to Titus, “For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all.” (Titus 2:11a).

Many religions and individuals have come and gone in the history of the world each one letting others know what they needed to do to enter heaven. We aren’t buying it. We believe that salvation is a gift from God. As a gift, there is nothing we can do to merit it or purchase it on our own. God loves and saves us not because of who we are, but because of who he is; a merciful Maker, Lord, and Savior.
